- I don’t really need to check the sizing do I? I’m pretty sure I’m a medium.
We know it’s a bit of chore, especially when you’re in the midst of a shopping induced dopamine hit, but we really, truly recommend taking a moment to work out what Mr Superfly size you are before ordering (particularly if you’re not familiar with our products, or it’s been a while since you last ordered).
The best way to figure out what fit and size will suit you best is by measuring a t-shirt you already like wearing and comparing its measurements to our size guide.
Here’s how to measure yourself:
1. Grab a t-shirt you already own that you know fits you well
2. Lay it flat on a smooth surface such as a table or benchtop
3. Measure the height (A) from the side of the neckline to the bottom of the t-shirt
4. Measure the width (B) from armpit to armpit
5. Use those measurements to find the best fit for you. We’ve included both metric and imperial measurements so you can use whatever suits your brain. Best done while (at least mostly) sober.
Be aware that variances in sizes are impossible to avoid during production, even with the eagle eyes of our quality control elves. Size guides are an estimate only and we suggest allowing for variations of 1-2 centimetres.
- Tell me, is that white t-shirt a black-white or cream-white or should I choose Ash instead?
When you’re putting the hours in trying to decide on the Ash or White t-shirt remember colours can appear differently on different device screens. Plus we all like our own things just so which means your device’s settings such as brightness and contrast can also effect how colours are displayed.
While we do our best to accurately represent colours online it's not black and white (hahaha) and we can’t guarantee that the colour you see on the screen will be exactly the same as the real life colour. Usually it is the same but sometimes people with a keen eye can see a slight variation.
If you feel the colour is drastically different we’ll do our best to help however please be aware that slight variations are possible.
- What if Mum isn’t home on the day I need to do my washing and I have to do it myself?
We all have to grow up sometime and it’s nice to know with a bit of love and care your Mr Superfly threads will keep you looking good for a long time.
1. Turn your threads inside out
2. Wash like colours together
3. Machine washing is all good, but best done with a gentle lukewarm or cold machine wash using a mild detergent
4. Air drying is best but they can be tumble dried on low
5. Don’t dry clean them or try to iron them (as if), they won’t like it.
- Are you making an effort to be sustainable?
Here at Mr Superfly we love the Earth and we want to continue to do better by her as there’s no doubt humans have made a bit of a mess.
Here’s a few ways we’re trying to reduce our impact:
1. We print on demand to help eliminate the overproduction usually associated with the apparel industry
2. We use direct to Garment (DTG) printing which is more eco-friendly as it uses water-based inks and there is less waste compared with other printing methods
3. We use the Mr Superfly manufacturer closest to the customer to reduce as much as possible the transportation distance and carbon emissions for each order
4. Our products are produced in accordance with international and national product safety regulations and we strive to use responsibly sourced materials that support local communities.

- Um, I think my new t-shirt has an odour problem, is this normal?
Ooh good olfaction! And nothing to worry about.
The majority of our threads are printed using Direct-To-Garment (DTG) printing. This process requires a liquid treatment application onto the tees to allow the graphic to permanently stick to the fibers of your apparel and it has a slight odour. This is very normal and industry standard. The smell will go away once the garment is washed; simply follow our care instructions.
- What payment methods do you offer?
We offer lots of convenient was to pay - Apple Pay, Google Pay &, Shop Pay as well as the usual Amex, Mastercard & Visa. Just choose your preferred option at checkout.
- Why is my credit card being declined?
Firstly, do you have enough funds? We know, we know but we have to ask because you’d be surprised how often it ends up being a lack of funds rather than a terrible conspiracy.
But once that question is out of the way here are the other two main reasons your credit card might be declined:
Incorrect details entered
You need to enter the EXACT details on your credit card, including the billing address that your bank has on record for your card. If your name is MR A SUPERFLY you must enter that, not MR SUPERFLY. 10 points if you spotted the difference.
Also make sure the credit card isn’t expired, or if you have a new card make sure you’re using the new expiry date (and also check to see if it has a new CVV number).
Two factor authentication not entered
If you have two factor authentication set up so that your bank sends you an SMS message with a verification code to enter before it will authorise a payment, you must enter the verification code or the transaction will not go through. This is becoming a pretty common reason for a decline. Contact your bank if you're not sure if you've set this up with them.
If you’re all over it and still getting a decline please contact your bank in the first instance, or try using a different card.
- How long will it take to ship my order?
Ah that's the most important question isn’t it? How long do I have to wait?
We print to order and ship from the Mr Superfly dispatch point closest to your delivery address so you get your order as soon as possible. We do our best to ship orders within 2-4 working days of you hitting the purchase button, but it can take up to 7 days to print if everyone decided to buy something at the same time and there's a queue for printing.
Orders containing more than one item might be shipped as separate packages from separate dispatch points, just to keep you on your toes.
Once your item(s) are dispatched, you will get automated shipping confirmation email(s) with your tracking number(s). If you don't think you've received your email(s) do check your spam first, it's there 99% of the time if it's not in your inbox.
- How long will be order take to be delivered?
We do understand the finger-drumming-on-the-table impatience and excitement of waiting for an online order to arrive.
The delivery time on your order will depend on how close the dispatch point is to your delivery address. As a guide domestic shipping (in the same region) is 3-5 days after dispatch whereas international shipping is 5-20 days.
You can use the link for the tracking information on your shipping confirmation email(s) to keep an eye on the progress of your parcel. Note that the latest information is sometimes slow to update, depending on the tracking service provided by the provider.
You do need to be a little chill though (particularly in this new world order where "standard" transit times no longer exist) as we can't investigate an order as lost until the delivery providers say we can. This is 21 days from the date of dispatch if your item(s) were shipped from the same region as the delivery address and for international orders it's six weeks.
Anyone that has ever bought something online in recent years knows that delivery times are a guess at best these days. We will endeavour to dispatch your order within the timeframe we say however delivery times are truly estimates only. Mr Superfly cannot be held responsible for delays that are outside of our control.

- Do you ship internationally?
Mr Superfly is a great believer in the value of exploring this super planet we live on and so he made sure we can ship Mr Superfly gear to many parts of the world. We do so using a consolidated international service which is a fancy way of saying that your order will go out on whatever independent delivery provider is closest to you and offers the best value for money.
Shipping costs are worked out on each order. Simply enter your delivery address on the Checkout page and continue to the Shipping Method. The shipping costs will then cleverly be calculated depending on the item(s) you've selected and your delivery address (fancy again we know).
Note: we don't collect customs duties, charges or import taxes at the time of purchase so you'll need to make sure you know what's up in your own country around customs laws and regulations for buying cool stuff overseas.
- Thanks for nothing guys, why haven’t you sent me my tracking number?
Fear not, intrepid shopper, as the item(s)in your order are dispatched our system will automatically send you shipping confirmation email(s) with your tracking number(s).
So unless the internet universe has come crashing down the email(s) will likely be trapped and yelling for attention from the confines of your spam inbox. So do check there first, they will be so relieved to see you.
And if you think the internet really has stolen your email (or you’ve just lost your tracking numbers) send us an email and we’ll be all over it.
- OMG, I haven't received my order, is it lost?

You can use the link for the tracking information on your shipping confirmation email to keep an eye on the progress of your parcel. However, sometimes the latest information is slow to update (especially on international orders) as a lot depends on the tracking service the provider is using.
One example we see a lot is where the local postal service takes receipt of the shipment from the international shipper but does not scan the shipment into their system or the system does not send updated tracking details back to the original tracking number. More often than not in this situation it’s all okay and your package is actually on its way.
So be a little chill (particularly in this new world order where "standard" transit times no longer exist) and allow 21 days from the date of dispatch if your item(s) were shipped from the same region as the delivery address. For international orders, please allow six weeks before contacting us (it's a long time we know but it's what the delivery providers say).

- Can I return or exchange an order?
Did you know that every Mr Superfly product is custom made to order? That makes you and us feel pretty special, plus it's better for the Earth (yes Earth with a capital letter).
That does mean though that because each order is specially made we do not accept returns.
We do want you to like us though so if you're nothing less than satisfied we'll work with you to find a happy solution if things get tricky.
